    Long live the Hud!!!

    Hi all,

Watched The Hudsucker Proxy tonight(again!). Man, what a great movie. I almost always enjoy a Coen Brothers yarn (didn't really like Intolerable Cruelty or The Ladykillers )

I only just noticed for the first time, in the rolling credits, that Sam Raimi co-wrote the movie.

Suppose it explained the casting of Bruce Campbell....
    Vincent.

Oh, I thought from the title you were talking about Hud, the Paul Newman western. I haven't seen The Hudsucker Proxy. Good, eh?

I've never seen Hudsucker either but I always tell myself I'm gonna rent it one of these days. " I'm gonna rent it one of these days," I just told myself again. And I love Coen Bros. stuff.

There were alot of people that gave this film a poor review, but I myself love the Coen Brothers style of directing, and thought this film was a success. Definetly an interesting cast with Hanks and Wayans. All of the characters were original and funny. If you're a fan of...

Aww I love these guys and own just about everything they have out on dvd. They never fail to entertain me with offerings of everything from quirky characters to downright funny plots to downright nasty violence. This time, with INTOLERABLE CRUELTY, they are pulling the chain to my funnybone.

Are you of the mind that each Coen bros movie is better than the last?...rumour has it that their coming "O brother where art thou" continues the string, and if you don't like Clooney now, you will after this one.
