Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

    Bought it.

Definetly different than the others. Some things seemed rushed or incomplete as though it had lots of extra scenes that were chopped out. Overall I thought it was enjoyable and fits the genre. The continuity in cast and great effects with a decent story line keep me at the theaters and buying these as they are released. They remind me of the fantasy novels I buried into as a genuine dork throughout my childhood (I guess even now too  ).

Too bad no one has released a really good series of D&D films such as DragonLance. The public mass would probably view them as tag-alongs to the Tolkien films unfortunately.

And the movie is ~2.5 hrs long, not the 4.5 hrs that is stated on the netflix jacket!!

I agree with Nick on this one...definately the best one so far in the series. Quite enjoyable if your into the genre...

Just watched it over the weekend and thought it was long, I fell asleep a couple of times, but I was tired do to a hard work week. It kept me entertained most of the time and if your looking for a reference DVD this is it, didn't have a lot of explosions, but the settle sounds were great and all the speakers were used continuosly. Never was crazy about H.P always bought for the sound effects but would agree that this was the best one.
