    Vanity Fair

This didn't recieve much attention it seems from the public or the studio for that matter but we found it to be quite good.

The story is a bit ponderous towards the middle but otherwise is quite engaging and was well acted by the entire cast. I was particularly impressed with the job Reese Witherspoon did... though that may just have been in contrast to her Legally Blonde roll

The PQ was stunning with lot's of deep inky blacks and shadows offset with vibrant scenery and lush period costumes. The SQ was also quite good. The dialogue was clear and the musical score rousing. The sub and surround activity was also more impressive than you might expect, particularly in the party and battle scenes.

Overall a well done movie definitely worth a rental or possibly a purchase if you enjoy period movies.

      by The_A_V_Guy
I just bought a new RB-1080 (black) on Wed. and it sounded like total crap out of the box. It is starting to get nice and sweet now but i know it has a long way to go still yet. At least the panic has subsided now. haha. My dealer tells me it takes a month leaving it on 24/7 and listening to it...

      by eulogytool
I broke down and and bought the 1098 after months of debating and I am very happy.

First question is: What is the normal break in period for a Pre/Amp to reach it's full dynamic potential?

Second question: I have my gear loaded onto one circuit and when my refrigerator...

Does the rmb 1095 "require" break -in period ?
      by Eliav
      Hi
Is there any significance to an amplifiers's break -in period ? I know it is important with speakers for their moving drivers, is there any equivalence with amps?

      Thanks
