Can somebody tell me what the break in period of the RMB-1075 and RB-1050?
Is there a certain db you need to listen to or type of music? Im using the 1066 as the pre/pro.

    Barney1,

When I first purchased my Rotel equipment, I ran it for around 48 hours @ 75db (which didn't make my wife happy). The equipment will need approximately 2-3 weeks for the initial break in period, from that point you should experience a continual opening of dynamics (that time period varies).

Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy,

    Azeke

      by The_A_V_Guy
I just bought a new RB-1080 (black) on Wed. and it sounded like total crap out of the box. It is starting to get nice and sweet now but i know it has a long way to go still yet. At least the panic has subsided now. haha. My dealer tells me it takes a month leaving it on 24/7 and listening to it...

Break in period for SSP-800 Upgrade
      by Oddiophile
The manual for the SSP-800 says that around 300 hours or so of break-in is required for optimal performance. Does it need a new break-in period when the upgrade is installed and if so, for how long?

I broke down and and bought the 1098 after months of debating and I am very happy.

First question is: What is the normal break in period for a Pre/Amp to reach it's full dynamic potential?

Second question: I have my gear loaded onto one circuit and when my refrigerator...
