Okay, going in I knew this wasn't going to be fun but as my daughter had rented it I had to try. Ugh. :nonod: This clunker was worse that I thought it was going to be. I'm not even going to try and list the problems. Just don't bother - trust me on this one. Just don't bother.

And I even enjoyed Anthony Hopkin's portrayal of Ptolemy. What a waste.

This is a :1: out of :5: and only for Mr. Hopkin's work.

Indeed David, I saw the reviews and it seemed distasteful. I never even considered it for a rental, 14% rating on Rottentomatoes.

Not having a great deal of knowledge of the a historical truth, the movie left me kinda wondering how far from the truth it was.....sounds like it wasnt close.

Like Azeke, I'm not even considering this for a rental. Shame on Oliver Stone. I have always liked his work but he must have been smoking too much pot when he got involved with this clunker.
