According to The Digital Bits Warner is releasing the first 4 Batman films as a box set. It won't include Batman Begins. They are also releasing each film seperately.

MSRP is $26 each or $80 for the 4.

2 disc sets with anamorphic and DTS and DD sound.

The early press release on Batman Begins doesn't mention DTS.

IMO there's only two batman films and now we have Begins to round out the set

Great news. I'm only interested in the first 2. Great to hear that DTS is present on these new versions. Batman Begins will finish the set off nicely.

You liked Batman Returns? I really thought all of them except the first one and the very original one were any good. To me Batman returns was boring, the 3rd just got plain silly and stupid from that point on.

I'm getting ready to thin my DVD collection out again. I own Batman & Batman Returns, but I think they'll be going in my next thinning. I love the characters, lighting, and theme song, but thats about where it ends for me.
