    Cursed

    Hello All,

Another DTS major let down. Please don't waste an time or funds on this DVD. I thought it would at least sound good but it didn't.

Hmmm, I usually get a kick out of werewolf flicks. Might just rent it for something to do some night.

I also like Werewolf movies and rented it last night. The special effects werewolf changing , CGI were only ok. I felt this movie (plot and characters) were aimed for the teenager audience alone. My 15 year old kid loved it. Wes Craven has done much better. Compared to a classic like An American Werewolf in London, Cursed is indeed pretty lame.

Longest Yard - the remake and Cursed

LONGEST YARD was okay, but I still liked the original better.

I also watched CURSED over the weekend. Yuck. Terrible story, terrible , actually funny looking werewolf. I don't think Wes Craven knew if this one should be a comedy or a serious attempt at horror. Neither worked IMHO....

            Robert Wise Passed Away
            by David Meek
Robert Wise, one of the most talented and reconizable (from his movies) directors/editors in Hollywood has passed away from heart failure at 91. I knew he had made some of my favorite films, but when I went to IMDB and looked him up it shocked me. The man had a way with films - any kind of film -...

SHADOWBOXER is a neo-noir film on steroids
            by George Bellefontaine
Pickings were lean at the local Blockbuster so I ended up renting Shadowboxer, a film I had passed up a few times because I thought it was just another Cuba Gooding Jr.action flick ( he has made a few recently) but boy was I wrong.

Shadowboxer stars Helen Mirren, Cuba Gooding Jr. and...
