Watched this Academy award winning movie last night with the wife. Both thought the movie was funny, though in our opinion not as funny as Shrek 2. PQ and SQ were both top notch. This is a definite must get :T :T
The Incredibles is just incredible.

Bought it of course!
The Incredibles was fantastic. I wouldn't say that it trumped Finding Nemo, but it is a solid second over A Bug's Life, the Toy Story series, and Monsters Inc. Coming from Pixar, I had nothing but the highest expectations and they were met. Some scenes had me rolling on the floor in a fit. PQ & SQ were both very good.

PS> I enjoyed the animated short "Jack Jack Attack" even more than the film. Absolute hilarity. The music for the short was 100% perfection in matching the action.~Nick- Bottom

I'm with Nicholas. Jack Jack ATTACK was worth the price of this disk by itself.
Sound and picture on this disk could not be better.
Only thing I have not liked so far was the Incredi-blunders segment. I was expecting Toy Story/Bug's Life style outtakes, and instead got modelling and rendering software glitches that ranged from mildly funny to a bit gruesome.

I've been waiting for the Incredibles since I saw in the theater.
I think the DVD is fantastic, and as with most of the CG animated DVD's the picture quality is stunning - even on my 3 year old low contrast projector.
Personally, I think this is Pixar's best. When I saw it in the theater, I didn't know how long it was, I kept expecting it to end (wasn't Toy Story like 80 min long?)
This should definately be on eveyone's must own list.- Bottom

WOW! Okay, I'm a fanboy now. I converged and re-calibrated the Pioneer with DVE yesterday and we had an Incredibles watching party. I could just keep babbling over the quality of the animation, the humor, the overall presentation, etc. . . but y'all already know. All I'll say is that The Incredibles jumped to the top of my list of animated films, and way up the list of any films, period. WOW!.

Watched this movie on Saturday, simply amazing. Top rate screenwriting, animation, and sound. Each PIXAR release justifies my HT over and over again. The babysitter is priceless (Jack Jack attack)!- Bottom

Wow... just watched it today for the first time. Pixar is amazing with their animation! And man... I love this movie for one main reason: it sure does make my 805s shine! 2-channel HT, but very impressive. I loved the scene where the kid learns he can run on water and then does that 'hell yeah' kinda laugh. That was my favorite scene. lolB&W 804S/Velodyne SPL-1000R/Anthem MRX720- Bottom

Saw it tonight. absolutely AWESOME. I think Toy Story 2 is still the best of Pixar, (and any animated flick) but not by much over this one. This is definitely a very close 2nd. Really, really enjoyed it.
I don't know what it is--there's a certain look and feel to Pixar films, plus a better story I think, that really puts them a step above Dreamworks films.
Hey, one question--the preview at the beginning of the disc is for the movie "Cars" which is touted as being Disney/Pixar. I thought the Incredibles was the last joint venture for the two companies!?

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Cars is the last of the original 6 picture deal (TSII, being a sequel did not count. Part of the bitterness).
New CEO Iger is attempting to repair the atmosphere so talks can at least begin again. Here's hoping.
This movie has possibly become my 2nd favorite movie ever. I can easily watch it a few times a week.

Attention region 4 buyers!
Hi guys.
I've just bought this disk through my local K-Mart and had to return it twice as the movie locked up at the end of chapter 4 as Violet leaves the stairs at her high school (about 14-15 mins into film)and the dvd would not play further until it was jumped to next chapter. It was tried on two different DVD players with the same results. My wife then picked up a copy from Big W which worked perfectly and had a game sampler included as well for the same price.
Cant wait to get a subwoofer to experience this properly after reading Nicholas's threads.
Another great family film from Pixar.I saw the shorts for Cars the other day but was not impressed, hopefully its just a case of the shorts not doing the film justice and maybe for once a studio wont put all the best bits in the short!
