    Dogma

An older movie I finally rented.

Very funny if you enjoyed Clerks. I personally enjoyed this movie, and some scenes had me rolling. Jay and Silent Bob always get me going. The scene in front of the clinic had me in tears. I plan on buying this!

    :35: out of :5:

Digging up old bones, eh, Nicholas. Well DOGMA has been in my collection since it was released and it has great rewatchability for me. Owning it is a good thing.

Any movie with God being played by a mute Alannis Morisset has just got to be good! :yesnod:

Oh yeah, I remember that now. He asked for it. I bet J.Lo has one in her collection, maybe even one for each DVD player in each residence, car and jet.

                ensen.

I did NOT like Dogma much. That said I don't like Kevin Smith movies either.

Seems a given that because of the way we hear relative to SPL ( Fletcher Munsen / Robertson Dadson ), combined with playback technology and the listening rooms effect on reproduced sound, recorded music played through speakers with a flat measured frequency response is almost guaranteed to sound wrong....

                    by JonMarsh
I saw this movie this weekend. I've seen a few different reviews by people, some not all that hot (B-, C+) discussing this as "the new Julia Roberts Movie". And then they complain about how small a role Julia Roberts had in this movie.

Reality reset time, folks. Julia Roberts...

In time for Halloween -- Scary Movie 3
                    by Burke Strickland
Scary Movie 3 (SM3) is solidly in the bad-taste-is funny, sight-gags-galore spoof-a-rama tradition of Airplane! (the same director did both). Unlike Scary Movie 2, which was a tired re-hash of the "original" Scary Movie, (which I enjoyed), SM3 treads new ground, parodying not just horror flicks...

I saved this one on my DVR, from a DirecTV showing. Honestly, I'm not sure why, if someone had recommended it to me, or if it just caught me eye. I really enjoyed it, though! I saw this one as very comparable to "The Last Action Hero", in its campy setting of a story set...

Well, that was different, and fun. Paul Rudd, and Jennifer Aniston didn't disappoint with their performances. I particularly enjoyed the whole hippie vibe and free love commune setting and when Jennifer got really into it and the character actors were nothing short of great. Even Allan Alda put in...
