24 - Season 3

Season 3 comes out on DVD on 12/7. It'll give new viewers interested in watching Season 4 (which starts in the U.S. on Jan. 9 on FOX) some time to catch up on the last three seasons. The quality of the S1 and S2 DVDs themselves are okay, but the entertainment value is top-notch. Season 2 is the best in my opinion, followed by Season 1. Season 3 is very good too, but starts out very different from the first two. It takes a while for it to get started, but when it does --- it is awesome too.

It's a very unique show in that everything happens real time. Each season depicts all 24 hours of one day in the life of counter terrorism agent Jack Bauer played by Kiefer Sutherland. And each episode is one hour of that day. Kiefer is AWESOME in his role as Jack Bauer. He is why the show is so good. And he makes up for some of not-so good moments of the show, especially those scenes with Kim his daughter in the show. I will leave it at that.

I have been hooked on this show since Season 1. IMHO, it is the best show on TV. I've turned on at least 20 people on to this show giving them my S1 and S2 DVD sets. Some called in sick the next day cuz they could not stop watching. It's non-stop action and nail-biting drama.

Hopefully I can get a few more converts.

Eddy, no conversion is necessary for me! :T 24 is a truly fine bit of entertainment, not only for the unique time perspective, but also for the intelligent scripts and fine acting. It's a winner.

I was rather distressed to see your post commenting that Season 3 comes out on the 12/7, I presume by that you mean the 7th December '04? If thats the case that is very unfair, as it has been out here in the UK for quite some time. If I've got my wires crossed then I apologise!

But I have to agree with you, 24 Rocks! I'm looking forward to series 4, which I believe starts in the US in early January, and in the UK where I am at the back end of January (fingers crossed).

I saw some websites in the UK that had it out way back in July. I don't know what would cause the delay. However, the 7th disc contains a sneak peek to what's in store for Jack in S4. Maybe that's the reason for the delay.

I received 24 Third Season for x-mas.

I'm on Disc Three now.

I love this show. Every year I get the season box set and watch the whole season ....in about one or two weeks time. I can't help it....it's addictive :B

Season Four premiers Sunday, January 9th. I can't wait!! I will be skiing at Sugarloaf in Maine that weekend, but will be sure to leave early enough to return for Fox HD broadcast. No HD-Tivo in my house yet.

I just finished Season 3. Awesome as usual! Made it in 5 days... Can't wait to get the 4th one. Have Season 1-3 on DVDs in divx. Is season 4 already around in the states? I'm from Germany and I need it...please let me know if anyone of you got it or if its available somewhere!

I despised Kiefer as an actor for a long time. I was even considering not even watching this show when I learned that he was the main star of the show.

I started watching from the first episode and haven't turned back. Kiefer is the man!

Absolutely the best show on TV IMO and my #1 favorite. How they can make a show have so many twist and turns is beyond me. I love action packed crime drama shows and this one gives you all you can stand in an amazing 24 show season.

Season 4 is currently being shown on Television. The season probably won't end for a few more months.

The DVD for Season 4 is not likely to be released till November or early December, here in the United States. I 'm just going by what they have done with the last three seasons.

They usually have some early leads/information on upcoming DVD to be released.

Glad to hear you are liking the show. You will LOVE Season 1 and 2 even more (S2 especially). I guarantee it. But please start with S1. It will make more sense to watch them in order.

S4 is on TV now in the US. There are some websites where you can download the episodes. I remember visiting one about a year or so ago. I would search the community on www.fox.com/24 or even post a question. You could try Kazaa too -- I'm sure there's something there.

I'm TIVOing mine. It's GREAT --- better than S3 and as good as S2 IMO.
