    Anybody Up For Master & Commander?

    Is anyone else looking forward to the November 14th release of Patrick O'Brian's Master & Commander: The Far Side Of The World starring Russell Crowe? I certainly am.

      Looks interesing. Gee, sure is nice to see films like this making a comeback. I miss films like Horatio Hornblower, The Sea Hawk, et al. And good ol' Russell also helped bring back films of the Gladiator genere, though there hasn't been much since .

          Yeah, it is good to see isn't it? One of the really interesting parts of this movie's history is that there are something like 19 or 20 different Patrick O'Brian books about the adventures of Captain Jack Aubrey. If this is a big hit, can you say sequel-mania?
