I've recently acquired this set (first season--don't know if there'll be another) on a friend's recommendation. I liked the book quite a bit (I'm a big Le Carré fan) and I look forward to having time to go through it (been a crazy busy semester so far). Anyone watched this? Thoughts? (try to avoid spoilers)

Excellent! It watches like a 6 hour movie. I read that two movie studios both failed to make this book into a movie. So BBC and AMC decided to make it into a mini series to allow for enough time to do the book justice.

First, I think due to the media of print, books allow for a much more thorough immersion of the reader...-

Yesterday I took our daughter Chelsea to Movie Gallery to rent her a PSII game for these few days she is out of school. When I walked in I noticed they had several racks of previously viewed DVD's for sale. The display read "BUY 2 GET 1 FREE" and most were marked at $9.99 each. The manager...-
