    Big Hero 6 - The 4K standard

I JUST watched this movie this past weekend.
    Great movie, lots of fun.
The thing that stuck out the most to me was the attention to details. The whole time I was thinking "This movie is going to be the 4K standard!" They added soooooo many details to every little item of the movie. Up until now, animated movies would add great details to the characters, items being used, etc... but the background stuff would be simple. For example, Toy Story 3, the toys in the background where balls, boxes, etc.. nice color and stuff..
But in Big Hero 6, with every change of scene, I would try to locate to most insignificant item in the background.. and found that it still was given so much attention. A ball would have brand markings. Even a scene from the sky looking down, you see cars moving (as usually), there is a person walking a dog, a guy going on a boat..... and all of these literately tiny items, were given so much attention. It was just suuuuccccchhhh a gorgeous movie to watch! Makes me want to have my full surround system again.

Anyways, if you have kids (or if you like action fantasy movies), this movie was a lot of fun to watch! 8):T

    The Movie Hero
    by Chris D

I saved this one on my DVR, from a DirecTV showing. Honestly, I'm not sure why, if someone had recommended it to me, or if it just caught me eye. I really enjoyed it, though! I saw this one as very comparable to "The Last Action Hero", in its campy setting of a story set...

    Hero

Jet Li as an assassin/hero and therein lies the plot. Beautiful scenery and filming, a little brighter than Crouching Tiger,.... Sub-titled, it is a fairly simple plot. Violence is subdued by little blood.

I believe this movie was made for the Chinese audience but will do well over...

    Upcoming mega-superhero movie?
    by Chris D
I think we may be headed towards a future movie being made with multiple superheroes. This one could be a mega project.

If you've watched Iron Man and the latest "Hulk", you've probably noticed the scenes (Iron Man you have to wait until end credits) that suggest that a future...

A Hero's Tribute of stirring heart and soul
    by Doug
The days since September 11 have yielded many emotions among not only American people, but much of the world. It was very comforting to see our Brothers and Sisters of the World unite in sympathy, in mourning, giving our Hero's that died in New York and Washington, a Hero's tribute.

    Tonight,...

    THE MAJESTIC

I am not a big Jim Carrey fan, though he always made me laugh with his skits on IN LIVING COLOR, but when he tackles drama, he is a much better actor than you'd expect.

In The Majestic, Carrey plays a Hollywood screenplay writer who finds himself on a blacklist...
