Anyone compared the DVD version of Hero or Fearless to the Blu-Ray version? if so, is it worth the extra expense for the blu ray? I'm more interested in Hero as there are many choreographed fight scenes and music. I wonder how it would sound with blu-ray surround sound. ie. subtle differences that cannot be heard on a dvd.
Some dvd vs. blu-ray have no real noticeable diff. other than price. Maybe alittle better picture. More so in older first gen. movies.
I want more than just a better picture, I want better sound effects.

On the back of this Jeff Beck Bluray disc "Live at Ronnie Scotts" it lists the audio format as LPCM stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS HD Master Audio.
