    Monk returning July 18!

Does anyone here watch Monk? It's one of my favorite shows, esp. compared to the usual junk on the air in the summer... USA has such good originals, but Monk's still my favorite. (Though Psych takes a close second, I have to admit). The new season starts up on the 18th, and the first episode introduces Monk's new psychiatrist and guest stars Brad Garrett, who plays Ray Romano's brother in Everybody Loves Raymond. Apparently he's in a really cool role, and I've always kind of liked him.

Anyway... anyone else looking forward to it?

Peeps (wife and daughter) at my house are big Monk fans, it's one of their favorite shows, i like it pretty much too. Personally not sure about Brad Garrett myself, for me he's one of those actors where sometimes it's hard to see beyond... hey that's Brad Garrett or Ray's brother. I hope he gets a good role, charatcer. I know someone in L.A. and I guess he drops into a comedy club there every so often, they say he's a very nice fellow.

Did ya know that Jan from "The Office" is Monk's passed wife in the show?

Oh man... you're totally right! Man, that actress is everywhere. She was just in an episode of Lois & Clark that I was watching on DVD the other night. (Yeah, ok, don't judge )

I really hope we find out more this season. More about Trudy, I mean. I love that they've managed to keep up the mystery for 6 seasons so far, just giving us little bits and pieces of the story, and yet it's still really compelling, not at all dragged out like some shows. Do you think they'll give us more this season? :E

        Monk
        by Sarahbee
Are there any other Monk fans here? I love this show, Tony Shalhoub is amazing and it never stops being funny or gets old or anything. He's always bringing something new, and is both touching and hilarious at the same time. The show's coming back Jan. 9, and they have some crazy guest stars this season,...

The DVD box for this series states by the Chicago Tribune......"Fresh, exciting and utterly original"

Well, I don't know about that. If you've watched the series "Matlock" or "Columbo" etc you've seen this kinda' detective stuff before many times. The only...

        24 - Season 3
        by EAmin
Season 3 comes out on DVD on 12/7. It'll give new viewers interested in watching Season 4 (which starts in the U.S. on Jan. 9 on FOX) some time to catch up on the last three seasons. The quality of the S1 and S2 DVDs themselves are okay, but the entertainment value is top-notch. Season 2 is the best...

        season ending to Castle
        by Lex
I was amazed at the ending of Castle this season. One might wonder if they are going to be back again next year if you just watched the episode. But they actually said, Castle and Becket will see you in the fall. I won't say it was the best episode ever last night, but it certainly did pull a punch...

"Chicago Fire" Season 1 on DVD
        by madmac

I'm deep into season 1 of Chicago Fireon DVD and although season 1 starts off a little dry character wise, it warms up nicely. It's basically about the firemen and women paramedics of Firehouse 51 in Chicago and all their trials and tribulations, close calls with death, and of...
