Got to watch it opening night. I thought it was 2 hours well spent. :B Bruce Willis does a good job. Loved it. "Yippy Ki Yea" -
Gotta love that title! I haven't seen it yet, but people at work whose opinions I respect said it was darned good -- reportedly Bruce Willis demonstrates amazing recuperative powers between stunts that would be near-fatal to mere mortals (e.g. real people not in a movie). :>) They also advised getting to the commercial theater to see it rather than waiting for the DVD.

Yeah? Good to hear. I remember as a kid having "Die Hard 2" as my favorite movie for a long time. There were many good things about those movies.

Saw this last night. (Hadn't been to opening night--at least, it was opening night up here for this movie--in quite some time. Used to do it regularly...when I was single
).
Enjoyed it for what it is. Some stunts are over the top, but that's a hallmark of all the Die Hard movies.Comment

I thought DAD was entertaining enough for me because my expectation don't force James Bond to adhere to a pure realistic/gritty foundation. I'm willing to forgive some unbelievable stuntwork just because it's part of the pacakge that comes with the franchise.

Spun this in BD format last night. This film is so bad it's just BAD!!. First off, the acting is absolutely terrible!. I've seen the other 'Die Hard' films but Willis has forgotten how to act in this one. totally non-convincing. Actually, ALL the acting is bad in this one!.

I picked up this gem because of a glowing review in...I think it was spin magazine, it's "Jack Bruce; Cities of the Heart" on CMP records.
Having grown up listening to Cream, West-Bruce and Lang, and other works of his that don't come to mind right now, I thought I knew what to expect....
