    Comcast Issue!!

    Hello All,

    Anyone having this issues of TV shows (like Heroes) running a few minutes over & the Comcast DVR not catching the endings? My only solution is to tapes the next show after Heroes goes off. Also for years ER came on at 9:59pm not 10pm. That has been corrected. Nip/Tuck was notorious for sneaking a few extra minutes in also.

      I don't have Comcast (Directv here), but check your DVR recording options. With my Tivo, I can go to the program that's going to be recorded and select options like 'Start Recording 1 minute before'.. and up to 5 minutes. It also has an option to 'Stop recording' up to 5 minutes after the show.

          I don't know why NBS does this. :roll: They don't like DVRs I guess.

          I have the new Comcast box, and the only way I have found to get it all is to do a manual recording and add a minute before and 5min behind the show.

              Was your sound in 5-channel sterio while watching Heroes on 11/06/06? We use Comcast Cable for HD in the Philly area. All other HD channels was okay for sound. Maybe it was a NBC issue.
