This movie won best foreign language and the movie is the best i've seen in a couple of months. I'm not much into foreign films but this one was powerful and keeps my interest in foreign films alive. Its about a african thug that has a change of heart. The picture and sound quality are top notch.

Its a must see buy you won't be disappointed. 5 STAR

Chris, its been out a few weeks now I just watched it this past weekend after reading a review in WHAT HIFI Magazine, they gave it 5 stars and it deserves it. If your emotional it could bring the tears the acting was outstanding.

If you can deal with subtitled movies, do yourself a favor, and get this one!

If your doubting that there is any sign of compassion and redemption in the human spirit, with all the tragedy and violence in the world as we are bombarded by inconceivable acts against innocent people in the news, the media and movies every day; by all means, get it!

If you just want to see what a good movie is supposed to be like; get it!

Three recent films that achievied 5 star status to this viewer
              by Danbry39
I know I have quirky tastes, but here are short reviews of three films, each of which I bought blind, that I absolutely love. All three are foreign films, so, if you're into that kind of thing, you might give them a try...at least if you can find them for rental. Really don't know if anyone else would...

Personally I think it would be helpful to their bottom line if Hollywood figured out how to make interesting and original movies again......

Wow what a movie. Now if you’re only into explosions, gratuitous sex, bathroom humor, manly brawling, car chases and alike this is not the movie for you. While I can very much enjoy many of the above qualities, sometime I do branch out.

If you’re into something well paced, with interesting...

I'm surprised and yet not surprised to not see a discussion about this movie. It's a foreign film(german) about the last days of the 3rd Reich seen from the eyes of the secretary of Adolf Hitler. For a WWII film, this is about as good as it gets. The portrayals are magnificent and the audio is pretty...
