Well for those of you that know me I am a Marine. So I just happened to have the time this weekend to see this movie. Here is my take.....

Not enought action...for me it was just another day in the Corps. Pretty cool if you would like to see what a Marine went through in the early 90's but I must admit that I was very disapointed about this movie. Just your basic day in the Corps. The crazy thing about this movie, is most of the stuff in the movie are not allowed at this time. But it is good to see what we used to do. Some of the things hit a little to close to home. Some of the things that happend durring the movie happen all the time.

Also there was stuff in the trailers that was not in the movies. That made me mad. I would not spend the money and watch it in the theaters. Definatly a rental for sure. But being a Marine I was almost bound by honor to go and see it.

I give it 3 out of 5 stars. maybe 2.5

Just my take on the film.

I guess I was thinking Full Metal Jacket, Seige Of Firebase Gloria (Best Marine Movie EVER MADE IMHO) There was just TOO much every day stuff and NO ACTION! Major let down. And the F word was used 125815459413546847651 times. Wait till it comes out on video, keep the kids AWAY from the movie, at all cost. (Porn, Nudity (Guys Butts all over the place), Lots of bad words, and other crap) I guess the more and more I think about this movie the more I am leaning towards hating it. I give it 2 stars now.

Yeah, I'll wait for the dvd, but I will likely buy it. I'm a sucker for any kind of war film.

I should have known better just by seeing who the director was. Very boring.

            The Movie Hero
            by Chris D

I saved this one on my DVR, from a DirecTV showing. Honestly, I'm not sure why, if someone had recommended it to me, or if it just caught me eye. I really enjoyed it, though! I saw this one as very comparable to "The Last Action Hero", in its campy setting of a story set...

"The fault in our stars" Review

            The fault in our stars

My 15 year old daughter read the book and watched this in the theater with her friends awhile back and recommended it for me to see. I spun this sad, romance movie last night and give it a good thumbs up! Well acted, well written and very emotional....

Lot's of hype, lot's of expectations. Does Spider-Man make the transition from comic-book to the big screen? Oh yeah! Right up front, this movie rates :45: out of :5: Don't pass Go, don't collect $200 dollars, just go see this movie!

Personally I think it would be helpful to their bottom line if Hollywood figured out how to make interesting and original movies again......
