    Amps designed for bi-amp speakers?

My current amp has a seperate speaker out for speakers that were designed for bi-amping. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on the Brystons but I don't believe they have this feature. Are there any you would recommend that do?

    Thanks

If your amp has two sets of binding posts per channel, that's actually "bi-wiring", not true bi-amping, but that's just arguing semantics.

You can bi-wire from any amp, you just have to put two wires into the binding posts, or use bi-wire speaker cables that have one set of spades/pins/bananas but split out into two sets of wires.

If you're talking true bi-amping, you'd be using two separate amp channels to drive the highs and lows on the speakers being bi-amped. You can do that with any amp as well, but you'll need two amp channels for each speaker to be bi-amped.

      Biamping B&W DM605
      by Blaa
I was wondering would it harm my speakers in any way if I biamped my B&W DM605 speakers?

I just got a new receiver Denon AVR-3806, and here I have an option to biamp the front speakers. And I want to try this but not if it harms my speakers in any way..

      Amp question
      by scarpi
I'm having a dedicated electrical line installed soon for my B&K Reference 200.5 amp. Should I have the electrician install a 20 amp line or just a 15 amp line? Is this amp designed to work on a 20 amp line? If so, why does it have a regular 15 amp plug? The owners manual states it is important...

      ExtremA class A amp
      by Piotr
      Hi!

Have anyone read about (or even better, built) the new class A amp designed by Bruno Putzeys?

Bruno is the guy behind the UcD amps from Hypex.

      The ExtremA is a DIY amp and you can read more at;

      Biamping with the 802D's
      by moonlightdrive21
Has anyone tried doing A/B comparisons on the 802D's with biamping vs. not biamping?

I was wondering how much better it would sound with two Classe 3200 power amps (200 watts per channel) biamped on my 802D's/HTM2D as opposed to just using one 3200 amp for the three speakers.

Who here has biamped, and didnt like the sound?
      by WelshOne
      Hi All,

Out of curiosity, twice now I have biamped my 803D's with my Class D Rotel 1575, and found the sound faster, and bass maybe tighter, but the sound was quite aggressive and forward in its presentation.

Ive just tried (loaned from dealer) an Audionet IV, in biamp...
