    1066 2.24 to 2.25, upgrade needed?

    Hi,
Just got my SILVER 1066 in today. I accidentally got a black one...Anyways, it is at 2.24, has the cable, & I'm getting ready to crack her open to cut the resistors. Do I need to upgrade to 2.25 now? Also, where is the Rotel FAQ on this site? THANKS!

Yes you should upgrade to the latest firmware. If you don't see the FAQ at the top of club Rotel try going into your preferences and set the window for threads to the max possible...that seems to fix the problem.

      Hi Patrick,

May I know how you check the RSP 1066 is a 100 or 200 mhz?

      Thanks and Regards,
      Bernard

        1066 no longer working, DAMN!
        by Patrick TX
I am at a loss here. My week old 1066 is no longer working. It has blue LED, but that's it. It's acting like it's asleep. I never use the Rotel remote, & it's in it's box. I use my Panamax 5300 to power down the 1075 & 1066 in sequence. The 1066 was working perfectly last night, & this morning,...

1066 loses ALL settings after 5 minute power outage?!
        by Patrick TX
Man, this is driving me NUTS! My 1066 lost EVERYTHING (except firmware) after a 5 minute power outage. What's confusing me is that I have it plugged in to a Panamax M5300 power center. Every night, I hit the master power button on the Panamax to shut down in sequence. What it the difference between...

        1066 component switching question?
        by Patrick TX
I have a new 1066 as well as a new Pioneer Elite Pro630HD RPTV. It only has 2 component inpus, as well as 2 HDCP DVI inputs. Right now I have no DVI devices, and 3 component devices. A Panasonic DVD-RP91K for 4:3 an non-anamorphic DVD's, and a Panasonic DVD-XP30 for everything else. I also have an HD...

        Praise for Panamax
        by Sonnie Parker
A lot of times we read in forums the horror stories that some people have experienced with different products and/or manufacturer customer service. I want to share a praise story.

I purchased a Panamax 1000+ several years ago... probably 6-7 years ago and it has served us well, especially...

life with rsp 1068 vs 1066 vs 1098
        by rosros
In feb I had a chance of comparing side by side the rsp 1098 with the rsp 1066. at the time, I was thinking about upgrading from the 1066 to the 1098. the rsp 1098 was a loaner from my rotel dealer. I had the 1098 for one week. Although the 1066 is a wonderful unit, for my usage, ultimately, it was...
