    Remote frequency

Anyone know of a good work around for 2 Rotel "audio" devices? (RC-1070, RSX-1055) It doesn't matter wich remote I use so their frequencies must be identicle. I primarily use the 969 to run everything and when I select "aud" both devices respond accordingly. Short of disabling the IR reciever in the pre-amp anyone have any solutions, suggestions? Thanks, Bob

About the only thing I can think ofwould be to plug both units into an X10 applience modual so that you can control the power states of either device independantly...of course if both were powered up at the same time they'd still respond to the same code but it might help.

      How change remote code ?
      by imbeaujp
      Hello,

I have 2 rotel processors that responds to the same IR codes so the 2 devices respond to the same IR command. Is it a way to change that ? How can I assign remote 1 to processor 1, and remote 2 to processor 2 ??

      Thanks !!!

      Odd RSP-976 remote issues...and a fix!
      by DrJazz
I just wanted to share an odd experience I've been having with my trusty old RSP-976 surround sound processor. For quite some time now (well over a year, maybe more) I've been having one helluva time with the remote control. Specifically, the 976 would only respond intermittently to volume up and down...

      What's a good cheap remote?
      by number17
      Hi folks,

I have been looking for a good cheap remote as I'm getting sick and tired of fumbling with 4-5 remotes on my couch. I am hoping to find 1 remote that replaces all of them, if not for 100% of the times at least for 95% of the times.

The problem I have, is while...

MX700 Remote - software "live update" behavior?
      by netarc
So I _finally_ got around to programming my MX700 remote last night (ahem ... it's only been, what, ~2yrs - funny thing is I've been programming clients' remotes right&left, just never seemed to find the time to do my own!).

Have a question re: the MX-Editor software. The Parasound...
