Because I didn’t found the time to install the software, I was still running version 1.1.0. Today I had a free day and I decided to do the upgrade, and it went very smoothly without any error... -
I am attempting to upgrade a 1098 from software version 1.1.1 to 2.x
I believe that I have to flash the firmware to do this.
There are 4 files on the Rotel web site to flash - Eprom data files 1 thru 4.
Can you please confirm the eprom addresses for the updates?

I bought a broke RSP 1098 in may and had sent it to a authorised service shop her ein Norway in the beginning of june. After a LONG time there the service techinicion ordred a eprom from the Norwegian Rotel dealer. that was in july, 27th og july to be more excact he has not recieved any parts... -

I was thinking off upgradin my 1098 with the latest firmware but i read that some peeps had trouble with the eprom upgrade so i called the distributor over here in the Netherlands and asked him about warranty when the shit hits the fan........
