Before I burn something up !!!!

I need your advice, on how to wire the "input signal link" at the back of my Rotel RB951, to the "line in" on the sound card in my PC. The plan is to be able to copy onto a CD, some old records and cassette tapes I have. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I am pretty sure that the link out from that amp is just the input from the preamp, so I dont see why you can not just plug the link out into your sound card on your PC. Unless your sound card does not take RCA type inputs, then you will need to get some type of cable, or make it, that will convert RCA into the small mini type plug. You also will need to know if it is a stereo or mono input on your PC if this is the case. I have never done this myself but I think that it should work.

Not obviously an audio or video device for home theater, this video card, nonetheless, is rapidly becoming a favorite for HTPC (Home Theater Personal Computers) due to it's remarkable image quality for DVD.

better cd sound: i-link dvd player or dedicated cd player?
      by krek
      Hello there,

I own a Pioneer receiver wich has an i-link input on board. I read that there are sound quality benefits when using this input instead of an analoge or coaxial input.

Here's my question: what to buy when the decision is made on cd playback quality? A dedicated...

RSP-1068 standby mode & optical input glitches
      by rofafor
I upgraded my hifi gears to Rotels in June. The RSP-1068 was an obvious choice and tested it with RMB-1075 amp too. However the RMB-1075 and my speaker setup (Amphion Argon 2) didn't bring the same feel of sensation as Genelec active speakers, so my RSP-1068 is now connected to a nice set of Genelec...

A few people have inquired on this board in the past about being able to input a DVI signal into their CRT projector. For about a year now, a guy named Moome in Hong Kong has been manufacturing cards that plug directly into the electrohome Marquee, Sony, Barco, and NEC CRT projectors. The card accpets...

The Proceed Video Processor (PVP) manual is now online and available here.

This is a two card upgrade – an input card and an output card. You must remove the existing 480i component output card to use the PVP. The output card uses the DVDO chip to produce the 480p output. The input...
