Hi,
i've already posted a message in the past days about the 1098 & DTS 96/24 decoding. Now, after many tests on diff'rent 1098 units, i can assume that there's a bug.
If you set the back surround channel to OFF, then ANY DTS 96/24 program (even if not ES) will be decoded as DTS 96/16 bit, losing the 24 bit decoding.
It seems something very simple to fix for Rotel with a new firmware, but i don't know how to reach the "high quarters" to notify this bug.
Maybe someone in this forum can help .....
All the best and always sorry for my bad english,
Luigi
