    Still a DTS bug on the v1.1.6 - 1098

    If you do set a 5.1 speaker conf. and listen a DTS96/24 with 6.1 matrix embedded source ( Tomb Raider dvd ) on the display is displayed only DTS.

    Where is the decoding of the DTS96-24 ?

    Only setting the speakers in 7.1 conf. the display say DTS96/24+ ext matrix, and this is right, but with 5.1 speaker conf. the display should say DTS96/24 and not only DTS.

              I've found a DTS bug on a 1068 I was installing the other day. I recreated it on our store 1068, and even my home 1098. Rotel is looking into it, but I'm not sure how seriously. As people have time, if you could do a test for me I would appreciate it.

              Hi,
              i've already posted a message in the past days about the 1098 & DTS 96/24 decoding. Now, after many tests on diff'rent 1098 units, i can assume that there's a bug.
              If you set the back surround channel to OFF, then ANY DTS 96/24 program (even if not ES) will be decoded as DTS 96/16...
