Very nice setup, and very similar to what I have. How have you got the lx91 connected to the 1570? I have am wanting to try the multichannel analogue outs but dont really want to spend the money on the cables if there is no improvement over the HDMI.

My setup is:
Pioneer PDP-LX5090, Pioneer BDP-LX91, Rotel 1570/1575, B&W CM7, CM Centre2, CM1, M&K MX125 MKII, Black Rhodium Pearl HDMI, Lost of Chord Cobra 3 RCA's.

There is definitly a difference between the hdmi and the analogue outs. I only have the stereo analogue out connected so cant really say what the difference wil be for a movie.
The lx seems to have a more laidback airier sound while the rotel sounds a bit how do i say it, faster, more out there then the LX. It mostly depends on the type of music I play wheter i choose hdmi or analogue. Jazz I listen to analogue while for pop I would choose hdmi.

Nice setup's all around guys but I DO notice that these powerful amps in many cases are a little 'cramped' in these wall units??. Might be a good idea to get a little more space and ventilation surrounding them??. Especially Petewill !!. And RicardB....that's a sweet lookin' center channel speaker !!.

It's a Epson Home Cinema 8700UB and a 100" Dragonfly screen.

Have you had the projector ISF calibrated? It is one of the most worthwild investments into a system that can be made. The cost typically is about $250 for one input on a projector.

The calibration will correct the whites and blacks, then the colors on top of it. Once done, everything looks correct. With excellent results.

All video sources are not 6500K (the standard). Some push blue, some red, etc. The AV calibration disks that are avilable are good places to start and do make improvements. But if the underlying white actually has a blue push, the colors will be wrong.

Finally got around to taking pictures of our setup. It's in a loft with very tall ceilings, lots of hard surfaces, and big windows... so acoustically it was a bit of a challenge... but that was all tamed with Acoustimac Suede acoustic panels and bass traps.

I'm using a JVC RS2 and the screen is a DIY made from blackout cloth. I'm using the zoom method for constant height.

I'll upgrade to a commercial screen at some point, but I'm working on the cheap now with the crummy economic conditions.

Actually my three amps get great airflow. The cabinet is completely open on the bottom and back. I have front-to-back braces that are aligned with the feet on the amps for support, otherwise they get totally free airflow since they're not sitting on a shelf. They get warm, but never hot.

I have them connected to lessen the load on each amp too. One 2 channel runs left main and left surround, the three channel feeds the center and both back surrounds and the other two channel is connected to the right main and right surround. So each front speaker has it's own amplifier.

The white feet on the rack are indeed to be able to fit the sub there. The corner was a good spot for the sub, so the rack had to be modified

The conditioner is not really there to clean up the electricity. Sure it will do some good cleaning it up, but as you say power in the netherlands is pretty good.
its more to have a point to connect my devices to and still have some form of lightning security without using some cheap stuff that does only harm to the performance of the system.

I don't really get it. You have far more amps than the RSPs have pre-outs, and I assume you're not using the zone feature.

Have you bi-amped all your speakers? And just how many have you got?

It is simple really. I love the look of the processors, can't be bothered with IR senders and nothing beats the black and silver stacked. There are more speakers not listed. Each 1070 are in mono running a single speaker each delivering the full 330. I have 13 amps, 1 integrated, 4 pre pros. It is shown on the summary.
