Thanks artv4! Well the Antec Fusion is a great case. It has good ventilation, a well planned layout, it's quiet and comes with a decent power supply(and looks good too!). The iMON VFD/IR that comes with the case is absolute garbage. I use the MCE IR receiver now and that works perfect. Having no display is really not a big deal. I love my HTPC and use it often for music and movies.

I like your setup too and those are some killer speakers. I used to have that exact TV (40S2000) it was a good display. I just upgraded to the Pioneer recently and I love it. Mine is a work in progress also; I plan to upgrade my surrounds as the B&W M1s fall short sometimes. They are small and nice looking though.

hey TommyV. thanks for the info on your hometheatre pc!!!! i have been meaning to build one since i recieved my lcd display. i have just been hesitant becuase of the noise they make when powered on...... my xbox 360 is horrible to play games on, it is so LOUD. thats why i opted not to purchase the additional hd-drive.

                    Hi.

Where did you pick up your A/V Stand? I have the same center channel (BW LCR600), and can't find anywhere to store it since it is so wide. Much appreciated.

If you are referring to mine, I custom built it. I was never able to find a pre-fab model that fit all my specifications.

As with most systems, it's in development. I suspect it always will be :W . Upgrade path includes 703's and a big screen. I'm still trying to figure out the best option for the screen. Projection would be cool, the room is large at ~ 15' x 18'. I have a tone of amibient light to overcome though with a 7'w x 5'h window. Decisions, decisions.

I haven't listened to my system above 70 on the Rotel Pre/Pro. At that volume my landlord complains that her room is starting to vibrate. But the sound is so clear and strong.
Will try to take pictures soon.
Here's a link to some pictures:

It is still a work in progress.
I will be adding a bridge across the top & Rotel Tuner, Dvd or CD Player, maybe another RMB- 1070 and 2 Balconies for the Center Surrounds.

Looks sweet. I would think you would put the amp on top for better ventilation though?

We thought of that too, but as the amp doesn't get hot, we left the arrangement as it is because of minimal dust protection. We are here in Calgary and I have never lived in a city so dusty ... definitely no city in Germany, where I come from.

We have to check with the 804s whether it is a heat problem, but I don't think so. The "digital amp" series doesn't get really hot and we don't have the volume very high normally.

The inner walls have 2 layers of 5/8" drywall with a layer of loaded vinyl sound proofing sandwiched in between. The room has 1 window cut out with 2 full double glazed windows to keep in the sound. The walls have 4" fiberglass custom cloth covered sound absorbers with bass traps in all corners, ceiling and floors all bought from Kinetico outside Columbus Oh. Creative home theater techs here in las vegas came in with their meters and showed me which panels to purchase and where to put them!
We have just enough room for 4 reclining theater seats.
The sound and picture are outstanding! Interestingly, I sealed the room too well and I had to put a quiet split model air conditioner in the wall because the room became too hot!
I wanted a bigger dedicated room but that's all my lot would accommodate. You have to play the cards you're dealt!

Thanks artv4, I am currently using polk, they are not bad sounding, just dont handle the rotel power very well when you start to load up, you could say this is my weak spot. I am shopping around for some new speakers, preferably B&W. These are a little pricey, but the sound quality is amazing, and they can handle the rotel power. I still have to get approval from my bank manager(WIFE)!!! HA HA. Take Care.

Also love how the B&W's cherry finish pops with the rest of the space, it must sound killer!
I wish the new 683 i'm looking at came in that finish vs the red cherry.

I try to combine both 2 channel audio and surround sound hence the machine park .
