Very nice for a 23 year old indeed. Have you ever listened to the Loagans with high(er)-end electronics??

Nice priorites there Joey! I bet it sounds trippy from the black chair? :P

I LOVE Martin Logans!! You need to at least try some tube gear on them! And vinyl! Vinyl + tubes + Martin Logan = magic.

Here is the start of my humble set up. The room is very large and the 804s fill it up nicely. Next to the addion is a tuner. The tv will be moved into place in a few weeks. It is a Pioneer Elite that will sit next to the rack stand. The speakers are about 10' apart and the chairs are about 11' back. Casts a large stage. Still working on the trim out.

Great setup Boone, no need to call it humble. BTW the room is so large that you could pull the speaker further from the walls. I also hope that you have something on the other walls or it might sound like playing music in an empty bathroom

Agree that the room is large. The wife is picking out furniture as I write this. I was going to put a sub in but the 804s have good bass to about 38 htz. The room is live and so I am hoping the furniture will tone it down. I have them on spikes and when the TV is put in place that will fill in the other area's. Will take additional photos.

VERY nice, OAGM... I used to be a Maggie owner, but have never combined them with Rotel gear. I assume you are digging the results?

Thanks everyone!!! Yes... my priorities may be screwed up, but it's not as bad as you think. I think of my Summits as my little "savings account", though maybe not as liquid as an actual bank account, I find that since I bought these used I wont lose too much on resale (if at all). If I need the money, I got over $7.5K sitting right in my bedroom.

                  Not too shabby....

I love justifying grossly inappropriate purchases! :P

Thanks for all the comments, guys!

I'm working on the upstream, better amp, better source... not in a hurry though as I have it setup pretty darn good. Listening to Dave Matthews yesterday night was heavenly with all the instruments about the right size and Dave standing about 2 feet infront of most of the racous... drums about 5-7 feet back while the trumpet and guitars were on specific and tangible parts of the stage.

Joey, am slightly jealous. What 's the unit on top of your both Rotels? And could you share how you extract sound from your PC all the way to the Summits? What interconnects, software are you using? thx

                      My Current Rotel Setup

Here is my current setup. We are in the process of moving so it is getting packed up soon.

Once we move in to our new home we plan on installing a projector/screen combo...

That's a nice setup Ralph!!! Once you get the screen that will be a great place to watch movies! There's definitely nothing to be ashamed of with the 1068/1095, that's a great combo. :T

                                  New set-up

Here are pictures of the upgraded system. The third picture is the set-up before the recent upgrades. We also moved the system to the other side of the room. This helped with room acoustics and lighting for video. The 1077, in addition to being an excellent amp ;x( , has high WAF. :T

Here's mine - and this is how things will have to stay for a while. Love it as it is though. Just have to fight this last upgrade bug that seems to be lingering.

Nice setup, seems that most people are now holding off on the AV pre-amp purchase until the new ones come out with the new standards.

I only have one Rotel equipment in this setup. but the receiver I bought is just to tide me over until the HDMI wars are settled.

hopefully, I can afford a separate rotel pre-pro

@kpodolski: That is one serious setup you have!

I must say though..... those Sonys look like they come from Planet Zoid ! Nothing like I've ever seen bfore.

                                                  Hi folks!

Heres a little update on my hometheater! I hope you like it

I've gotten one of two PB12/+2's, and a new PJ is on the way I have also purchased dv-9600 and SA-15 from Marantz

BTW: I must say that there has come some really lovely pictures of peoples set-ups since the last time I logged on! Very impressing indeed!

The racks are two Sound Organisation. Z-540S and Z-530S The main reason that i chose them was that you can adjust the height between the shelves. I needed this because of the RB-1090 an RMB-1095 - they are 24cm tall and that is higher than the standard height between shelves here in Norway at least They do need some air around them

Open the photo using your favorite editing tool, and reduce to 800 x 600, for example. Most newer cameras use much higher resolution, which eats up a lot of disk space.
