    Remote Codes

Hi all. I will be receiving my first Rotel stuff soon. I will be having the 1062 integrated amp and the 1068, 1075 combo in the same room possibly. Will using the 1068 remote also affect the 1062? Like on and off and the volume.I'm really hoping it won't.

The 1062's power (toggle) command looks like this...

    0000 006d 0022 0002 0156 00ab 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0040 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0040 0015 0040 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0040 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0040 0016 066e 0156 0055 0016 0e4b

The 1068's on command looks like this...

    0000 006f 0028 0000 014a 00ac 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0014 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0014 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0014 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 060f 014a 0053 0015 0db4 014a 0053 0015 0db4 014a 0053 0015 00ac

    And its off command is...

    0000 006f 0026 0000 014a 00ac 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0610 014a 0053 0015 0db4 014a 0053 0015 00ac

So what that means is that no at least the power commands will not interfer with each other...

    The 1068's CD input is...

    0000 006d 0022 0002 014f 00a9 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0015 003f 0016 0673 014f 0054 0015 0e24

    The 1062's CD input is...

    0000 006d 0022 0002 0156 00ab 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0040 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0015 0040 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0040 0016 003f 0016 0040 0015 0040 0016 066e 0156 0055 0016 0e4b

So once again they're using different code's so it appears as though you'll have no problems at all with these two units being in the same room.

Thanks Andrew. Not quite the answer I was expecting , but very informative none the less. Like I said, new to separates. So I hope you guys in club Rotel won't mind if I pick your brains every once in a while.

Remember those are Rotel learned commands, and there is room for error.

If you look at the CD input command, it is different but most are only off by one byte or so.

FWIW, I know at our store the RC-1070 and RSP-1068 can use each other's remote just fine. And their codes are as different as the others posted:

I'm going to go with that they will interfere.. Time to get one of those IR blackout patches..

              1068 Adjustable Audio Delay?
              by Bing Fung
I was looking at the specifications of the 1068.

Is that Group Delay the same as Audio Delay to sync the Video and Audio together?

If so, what is the range of adjustment? (i.e. milliseconds)...

I need to purchase a rotel RSP 1068 for an uncle in France..

And I found some threads about discrete codes and teh downloads available on the Rotel website.

Myself, I own a RSP 1098 and this one has the discrete codes. But now I need to know if the RSP 1068 has the discrete...

              Hi,

I was wondering whether any Club Rotel members had developed or discovered any useful extra I/R discrete codes or combination codes for the Rotel RSP 1098 to share with other members.

For example I have a code for NEO:6 made up of: , short delay, short delay and

              Zero's for IR codes?
              by Andrew Pratt
Some people find they get null values instead of IR codes in their CCFs from time to time. This is almost always a case where the user is opening CCF's with different versions of pronto edit. Because pronto edit 2 uses the built in data base it assumes that will be present when you open the CCF. If...
