Well I'm new to this forum so hello to all Hi-Fi nuts out there. I've just finished reading all there is to know currently about the new Rotel Processor 1098 and I'm totally blown away. I've just found my new toy for this year. Can't wait until it's release.

Only if May was here already.
One problem though, this processor is taller than the 1066 and I may have to buy a stand as well.
This is going to be an expensive purchase, BUT I CAN"T WAIT

Yep it's expensive so I'm going to sell my Denon AVC-A1SE (Upgraded) so I can buy it. After buying the Rotel 1095 to power my speakers rather than the Denon and the difference was huge for sound quality, I'm not hesitating in purchasing the 1098 as I'm sure it will blow the denon away in all departments. It's great to see Rotel bringing out such professional equipment as I'm sure not all of us can afford such brands like Meridian. Well done Rotel.

Let us know when the 1098 have the same popping problem as the 1066.

My 1098 Rotel Processor has my 3 satellite decoders on Video 3, 4 and 5.
On Video 4 ONLY as the rest act perfect In 5 channel or PLC 2 or dts neo 6, the sound of the front Left speaker and Back Left speaker and Center work but not the Right front or rear work during... -
