    ? on 1068 Display

I am new owner of the 1068 and had a question on the display. Sometimes (I think when I am watching a digital source) there is a number on the right hand side of the display which usually reads 48K. Just wondering what that number is since I cant find anything in the manual.

    Thanks.

I would imagine it's denoting a 48Khz digital audio stream

Yes, it does indicate the amount of audio information per second your 1068 is receiving. You'll also notice 44.1 with CD playback if you are using the digital output on your CD player. If you are fortunate enough to have a DVD with DTS 96/24 (96Khz/24bit) encoding (a great sounding higher resolution format), you'll see 96 on the screen.

      Cheers,
