Rotel seems to really be pushing the silver models in their marketing these days, which I can understand since it's definitely an attractive look. That said, I have the black model and actually prefer it for my setup, because the silver would just stick out.

FWIW, I'm picking up a 1066/1075 combo later this week. I had to wait for the "special order" because they ONLY stock the two tone models now; evidently some sort of unofficial marketing push by Rotel.Comment

I just realised that the Peerless Exclusives look ugly in my black piano finish cabinet. I would prefer if the silver phase plug and frame was black. How would I go about making the drivers black, without affecting its performance?
