    Firmware version Question and

    others....

    I just ordered a silver RMB 1095 to go with my RSX 1055. The dealer sold me a black display and let me think about it for 48 hours. I ended up going silver to match rest of component.

    when I hold mute down it says version 2.2.2....is this the correct version to have or is there a new and improved version out there ?

    Is there a burn in time with amps....I have to wait 2 weeks to get it but I want to be ready !!!

    Anything else I need to know about with this combo

      There is a newer firmware then that for your 1055. If your dealer can update it for you or you have a cable email me and I'll send you the required file.

          If you have the new version of the 1055 (version 2.X software) does that mean you have the higher video bandwidth ? I saw a post that stated which serial number of 1066 had HD video but I could not find the version of 1055 with HD video.

          I ordered an RSX-1055 (in silver) today from a local HiFi shop. I got a nice 10% discount on the purchase. Total with tax was only $1250.

          I'll be matching it with Dynaudio Audience 122s for a short while - then adding a 122C, 42s for surround and a new SVS or Adire subwoofer as well....
