    1055?

I just ordered the 1055/1075 combo from my dealer, does anyone know what serial numbers have the 200mhz switching chip?

I've been trying to find that info out but if you just ordered it I very much doubt you'd get an old one at this point.

I had the same question about my RSP-1066. There is a thread here with the serial number that is supposed to be the "clear" point. And although I git mine 2 weeks ago, my serial number was below the claimed 200Mhz serial number.

I contacted ROTEL, gave them my information, and they assured me that my unit had the 200Mhz update. Evidentally they pulled back what they had there, before they shipped, and performed the upgrade. So I don;t think you can go by a set start point regarding serial numbers.

Get the maybe ask your dealer for the number of the unit his is going to sell you, and contact ROTEL. They got back to me in 1 business day. If the dealer won't give you the number, tell them to contact ROTEL and verify.

The easiest way to find something lost around the house, is to buy a replacement.

As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it.

Any word on what the serial number cutoff for the RSX-1055 200MHz upgrade? COnsidering purchasing a used unit, so would like to verify that it has the newest video bandwidth. Thanks in advance.

The reply that I got back from Rotel was that its hard to track exactly which units have and which don't have the upgrade so its best just to call them and have them look it up for you.

              Rotel 1065 v. 1055 v. 1066
              by spacey
              All,

I am seriously considering the purchase of a Rotel 1065 receiver, and have been reviewing the posts on this forum. I note that there is a lot of info on the 1066+Amp, and 1055, but relatively little on the 1065. I will be using it with B&W N804, N805, and HTM2.

              Help With Serial Numbers
              by Jody
I was hoping somenbody here might be able to interpret the following serial number for a RSP-1066.

              FR019713081118239A

As the new 1068 is soon to arrive I can get a pretty decent deal on a 1066 demo that the store here in town has.

              I was wondering based on...

              Serial Number Question
              by AB11
Ok. I cannot get to the back of my amps but I need to know the serial numbers.
I can get to the boxes and I assume they have the serial numbers on them.
On each box there are 2 bar coded numbers - top one quite long with alphas bottom one not so long and lacking alphas.
              Can somone...

I have read the posts here on the 1055 having the two versions of video cards. Version 1 not able to pass HD. Version 2 does. Mine must have been a version one. My HD would cut out completely and come back on. This would happen over and over mostly during bright flashes and or fast motion. It was Especially...

              B&W serial numbers
              by audiojunky
I recently got a brand new B&W 804s and noticed that that serial numbers at the back were something like 0003xx7 and 0003xx8

Does that mean that that only around 4000 odd B&W 804s speakers (or 2000 pairs) have been built all over the world till date?

              That seems...
