    New poster--Receiver recs 965/972?

    I am considering the above two Rotels for my first true foray into HT. I will only be using 5.1 for the forseeable future, due to room dynamics, so I don't need all the bells and whistles of some products. Need basically dd/dts, 5.1 inputs, clean power for both music and movies.

    Any suggestions on the 965 or 972? Is the 972 worth the extra $$ for my situation? Speakers are Def Tech Studio Monitor 350s, C2 center, BP1.2x surrounds, ProSub80.

      Both of these are discontinued models. What price can you get them for? Needs to be a deal.
