I just had one of my RMB-1095s die. I have a pair of them in my home theater setup. They have worked well for many years. I'm not sure what the issue is and perhaps its repairable. If not, I was wondering if I would be better off going with a RMB-1585 or finding a used RMB-1095. I can pick up the older unit for $1K. The new one lists for $3K. Is it a worthwhile upgrade or more or less a similar unit? Looking at pictures of the inside, it sure looks very similar layout wise. I also know that's not going to tell me the whole story. I do see it has fans (which I'm not thrilled about).
Replacing RMB-1095 with RMB-1585?

by TimbaLandHi guys
I have an RMB1095 and I have an opportunity to replace it with RMB1585. It's gonna cost some money to do this but I'm getting it at a good price. More like 40% off retail value. Is it worth it or this is just a waste of money?-

by TimbaLandHi guys
I see Rotel released a new class AB RM 1585 a few months ago. Is it the rmb1095 that has been re-boxed into the 15 series box? I think there's an RB1590 which is more like the RB1090
Re-boxed. Does anyone have an intimate knowledge of this power amps?-

by prk504Does anyone experience a slight him from the tweeters when using the rmb1585?
I have a slight hum with no audio coming through..I've tried disconnecting all the interconnects and the trigger. The amp is plugged into a Tripp Lite Lc1200 and I've tried plugging it in directly to the wall....-

by TimbaLandThe RMB1585 has RCA and XLR inputs. I have heard before that the XLR inputs in Rotel are not truly. balanced. Os it the case with the 1585?-

by carlsenI've just assembled a system, consisting of using a denon 3805, running preouts to an rb1090 and a rmb1095 ( unbalanced).
I am only getting weak sound out of the main right and left front but nothing out of the other five speakers which are connected to the Rmb1095.
I read...-
