In a different post, Patrick said the boards are currently in production. If all goes well, I think they would be available in April or May 2017.Last edited by jam200; 01 April 2017, 09:55 Saturday. Hi Patrick.
Thanks for the information update. I'm currently waiting for the RSP 1582 to have the boards(HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2) pre-installed at the factory so that way its a simple plug and play. Guess its safe to keep checking the rotel website to find out if they are shipping with the new boards correct?

Hello, I have an issue with my RAP 1580, after an update, the system won’t start anymore! I have the standby light and the Bluetooth connection available. But the serial or USB or USB power 5v don’t worked too. So I’m looking a way to access the OS. Need helpComment

I'd recommend you call Rotel Canada and tell about your problem. Is the RAP 1580 still under warranty? Either way, contact Rotel Canada first and see what they recommend.Comment

New Rotel owner here, I'm running the RAP1580MK2 with a fairly basic two channel system (left and right fronts, and a subwoofer), for both music and home theatre. I do not plan to add other speakers at this point.
