Rotel 1057 bass response?

    Rotel 1057 bass response?

    I've got a rotel 1057 and stumbled into some aeriel 10t's that I couldn't pass up for the price. If it wasn't for my powered sub, I wouldn't have a whole lot of bass response, even after adjusting levels on both the on screen menu as well as the tone. Due to this, I'm contemplating adding an amp-probably 2 channel because I think that's all I really need to power these behemoths properly.

    The question I have is, has anyone else experienced this, and what amp would you recommend? My budget is $1500, but ideally I'd like to be under that.

      Are the speaker settings for the main left and right set to 'small' on the Rotel ?.
