So here's my idea; I have a room dedicated for hometheater with a rotel rsx1057 running a B&W DM300 series surround set.
I also have an RB-1080, 2 B&W 683's and a rcd-1072 setup with a Rc-1070 in another room.
I'd like to use the 683 in the theater room because of its layout, the room they're in right now is aweful for acoustics.
I don't have the cash to buy a whole new set of speakers or any more gear in general.
Can I setup the RB-1080 through the zone output on the RSX-1057, using that amp alone to run the 683's for music playback? This way I can leave the DM300 speakers connected the 1057 at the same time for everything else.
Can I expect the same quality with the 1057 reciever as a preamp as lets say using a Rc-1070? Does the 'zone out' plug have the same quality circuitry as any of the other pre-amp outputs on the 1057?
