    Turning off hdmi in RSP 1572

    Hi all,

    Can you turn off the hdmi Faroudja scaling in the RSP 1572? I have all inputs going in to hdmi but I'm not getting a great picture off my led tv. Support said it may have to do with the connection as the tv displays whatever signal its putting out. Thanks

      No worries. I read the manual and it states that hdmi video is pass through and not scaled only analog signals get upscaled by the Faroudja scaler. Thanks folks.

          I'm sure that this has been discussed in the past however I'm am curious what the difference is between the two? Assuming that the 1570 is running the current firmware.

          I know the 1572 has a couple of extra hdmi ports, I only need 4 at the moment.
