RSP-1069 Digital out question

    RSP-1069 Digital out question

    I have an rsp-1069 and I'm thinking of hooking this up to a Proceed AVP using the digital out on the 1069. My sources are all connected via HDMI:
    - ps/3 (does the decode of HD formats and sends out Linear PCM)
    - AppleTV
    - comcast hd dvr
    - Marantz DVD

    Has anyone here used the digital out on the 1069?
    Will this work?

      I'm killing it to upgrade my rsp1068. One final trip in here to get some updates on the rsp1069's progress. I have not read anything lately so I wanted to ask about sound updates....

      1)How is the audio and video working with Blue Ray and Hd dvd VIA...

      I currently use a Proceed PRE as my 2-channel preamp and use the SSP pass through from my Rotel rsp-1069 for integration into my home theater. I also have a Proceed CDD transport and Proceed PDP D/A for cds.

      I am toying with replacing the PRE and the PDP with an AVP. The AVP being newer...

      I just purchased a JL Audio F110 sub and want to set this up correctly with my RSP-1069 and B&W 805s.


      Is it better to use the bass management from the RSP1069 or the separate controls on the F110?

      So far, on the RSP1069 I set crossover at 80 and sub level in...
