Worth getting rsx1550 now?

    Worth getting rsx1550 now?

    Just sold all of my setup with the house and did have rotel rsx 1057., seems like they had 1550 for a while now, is it worth getting one now or is their a new one coming anytime soon?
    What should I expect to pay for one now?

      I've heard that the new Rotel's have HDMI issues. So......that being said, I would recommend Rotel for music and Movie's via the 'old' Toslink and Cable connections only. I have the RSX 1057 and love it for music and movie's via those connections.

          That's what I had in my old place that just got sold, I'm trying to setup something basic for couple years, basement won't get done for a while.

              Well, they never came out with a 1552, so it's technically a model behind all ready, but it will do everything required for today. The HDMI issues are kind of problems with certain devices or combination of devices. Might want to make sure you can get a 'testdrive' before purchase.

              Should they be replacing it, look for info around September with shipping around Dec.

                  thanks Kevin, I'm in no rush, just love rotel gear, but would hate to buy one and couple of months new line up come out, beside I really don't care how 1550 looks, really like the old look.
