Digital pass through phenomenon??

Hi Folks,

Interestingly, My Rotel RSX-1057 has begun to pass through the optical out sound from my TV through the CD input!!??. In other words, if I have the receiver set to CD output and turn the TV on, the TV sound comes out of the CD input when it's set there??. I have a completely separate TV input on the receiver and the optical out of the TV is sent to that dedicated input....but.....yet.....the sound comes out of both inputs (CD and HDTV in) ???!!!. Very strange no???!!!

Can't you on that set what the "CD" input is actually using as an input... opt 1, 2, 3, Coaxial 1, 2, 3... type thing.

Right now, I have the CD input set on the internal menu setup to be 'Analog'.......which is why it is strange that this is happening all of a sudden. This is a new phenomenon that just started happening a few weeks ago!!??.
