Rotel Processor Who Is The Best?

I WILL USE OPPO BD 95 WITH 7.1 OUTPUT WHO IS THE BEST PROCESSOR TO USE WITH ANALOG INPUT RSP 1098 OR RSP 1570 ...?

Both Processors are very good at what you are using but the RSP1570 is a current preamp and has HDMI processing. I would if I where you go that route.

The 1570 is the same as the 1069 except for 1.3 HDMI. The 1098 has superior analog audio.

You undoubtedly will. If you can actually hear a diffidence is another matter. Ideally you should arrange a blindtest.

Sadly hearing gets worse with age. A child who might be able to tell the difference between the DAC in the Oppo 95 and the Rotel 1570 can't afford either (and would just abuse them with Justin Biber anyway), you and me who can afford them may no longer have the hearing to differentiate.

Good question and something I am curious about also. I listened to many processors before buying the 1098 and I thought with the exception of Lexicon it was the best sounding. I am debating whether or not to sell my 1098 or to add an OPPO 93 so that I get the lossless codecs. I would not really consider the 1570 as even though I am a huge Rotel fan I think I would go with an Anthem MRX-300 as a pre-pro because of their awesome room EQ function.

My suggestion to you given that you have the audiophile OPPO 95 is to go with the 1098 because of it's superior analog performance.

I had rsp 1066 and changed to rsp 1068, and I prefered rsp 1066 because I thought the sound warm and the rsp1068 more bright.
I never heard 1098 and don't know how is your sound.what I know is that 5.1 analog out is better than hdmi.
