Have This Happen To Your Rotel Rsx-1055?

My Rotel RSX-1055 power on but output to speakers is intermitent, so I post it on Justanswer and this is what I got.
"The protection circuit is activated and that is why you have no sound, the clicking sound is coming from the protection relay trying to conect and disconnecting again because the short, it needs to be send to service but before you do that try disconnecting all the speakers and increasing the volume again, if the click is there then send it to repair otherwise is a short in one of the speakers or speaker lines."
    Have this happen to you?
    Thank you.

Rotel RMB 1075 Protection light not working
      by pchanj
      Hi,
I was wondering whether someone has experienced anything like this. Just a few weeks ago, after watching a movie. I turned off my amplifier RMB 1075 and heard a loud pop. I cannot really tell if it came from the amp or speaker, but one thing I noticed though was that the protection light...

Disconnecting speaker while power amp on - any danger?
      by Zoran
Something like this happened yesterday - managing to disconnect the left speaker (B&W 803S), I just missed to turn off the Rotel RB-1090. Nothing dramatic happened - there was not any “pop” sound from speaker, not the amp protection circuit was activated nor fuse burned... Probably because...

      RB 1080 Protection light
      by DrJRapp
I just got my 1080 back today after an extended stay at the Rotel hospital. It seems to work great. One thing scares me though, when I power it up the red protection light stays on for about 15 to 20 seconds. I swapped speakers and cables with a pair of bookshelves just to be sure it wasn't anything...

      RSX1055 7.1 surround (Phew!)
      by Al K
I have an older RSX1055 with original version of firmware. Recently hooked up two CB speakers and utilized the redirect feature in the on display menu. Initially the RSX1055 would reset the redirect back to front speakers. I called Rotel and was told to update the firmware. Then I called...
