I just snaged an awesome deal on a 1067,but no remote. What is the best universal remote to use with it. Are there any functions that will not be available with a universal? What is the most compatible at a decent price?

Check the "One for all" series of universal remotes. They light up when touched and they have a modem built in. Simply call the company and tell them you have a Rotel 1067. After a few questions and instructions, they will instruct you to place the phone up to the remote and they download the IR info into the remote via the modem and then give you the activation code/ codes. I worked beautifully for my Oppo DVD player and will most certainly work with Rotel Products.Dan Madden :T- Bottom

My question is Rotel specific in that I'd like a single device that will control my current system RSX-1055/RDV-1095/RMB-1050 and RSX-965/RCD-965 and preferably... -
by DrJRappEarlier this week I picked up a Logitec Harmony 880 universal remote to replace my now defunct Sony RM3000 which had been dropped one too many times. Simplicity in a remote is the key criterion here since my wife is a technophobe when it comes to audio and I have a 15 YO step son who already blew out...-
