    stereo setup to do

    hallo,

I like the idea t have a rotel stereo system and between this 2 setup
(never listen) what will be the more good sound conbo?

the Rc1580 with the ampli Rb1572 or 1582

    or a bi-amp. solution:

    Ra1520 with the ampli Rb1562 or 1552. :W

    your opinions?

Well it's only a review, but the RC1580 paired with RB1582 won a pre/power amp combo group test in HiFi Choice (September 2010) magazine here in the UK. It's competition was Astin Trew AT1000/AT5000; Cyrus Pre XP D/8 Power (the pre has built in DAC); NAD C165BEE/C275 BEE; Parasound P3/A23 and Tsakiridis Devices Alexander/Artemis (a valve combo).

      Hi Audio_ElF,

I have read a test in a german magazine:
Nad, Rotel, Linn & Marantz: a pre with power ampliffier & integrated plus a power ampli.

exemple a Nad c326be (integrated) with ampli 245 vs. Nad 165be (preampli) with poweramplifier 275beee

      Rotel Rc1580 with Rb1572 or 1582 (personaly I like more the "D 1572)...
or the Ra1520 with the ampli Rb1562/1552

      .....

the sound the you go have from a bi amplification is very different and can be a personal taste but can be a interessant point of choice....

with te rotels gear you can have a not too much expensive system with a great sound.

but i think nobody have at home this combo....

I search so a combo OnLY for stereo not HT.

The RA-1520 is a stereo pre with integrated 60 watt amp.
The RC-1580 is a stereo pre-amp. A stereo purist will not be happy with a class D amp, so you should go with the RB-1552/82.

Anyone tested/auditioned the RC1580 preamp? Does it sound lean/bright?
I`m interested in this preamp as it has the "HT Bypass" feature

Connecting an equalizer to a RC1580 preamp
          by Wassy
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can connect a graphic equalizer to a RC1580 preamp. If so how would it be connected? Tape 1 or tape 2 ? Not sure as there is no tape monitor button .
