    RSX 1055 Volume Knob?

I recently bought the 1055 and I was wondering if the blue-green ring around the volumn knob suppose to light up when the 1055 is turn on?

    Thanks!

But, if Rotel was smart, they'd have it light up, because cosmetically, it would be so cool. :P That blue color to indicate "power on" would be just that added little perfect touch.

Personally I HATE lights on gear so I'm rather glad they didn't illuminate it.

          Bi-amping with RSX-1055 and RMB-1075
          by 4_everyman
I want to use an RMB-1075 in a bi-amp configuration to drive my center front and center back speakers. The speakers are Polk CSi40s and they have two sets of terminals, so they are bi-amp/bi-wire capable. My receiver is an RSX-1055.

The RSX-1055 has two center channel pre-amp outputs...

Like the RSP-1066/RSX-1055 the RSX-1065 also has some point that need to be enhanced or fixed.

The RSX-1065 has some flaws in decoding the sound format.
          1) There seemes to be no difference in normal DD5.1 and DD5.1 EX sound. With both formats the RSX-1065 uses the CB speakers....

          Hi folks,

To make it long story short, Rotel is offering me to replace my RSX-1055 to RSX-1056 for free. Should I take them up on the offer?

Should I except the same quality in the RSX-1056?
          thanks
          Sri
