    Rotel 1070 cd player

    Hi Rotel fans,

    For approx 1 year, I have been living with a Rotel RCD-1070 cd player.

    This is really a great sounding cd player, it's so musical and dynamic for the money.

    Just wondering, will the Rotel RCD 991 AE be a better improvement over the 1070? I'm aware the 991 is based on the Michi.

      My father has a beautiful Rotel Michi RHB10 poweramp driving his Martin Logan Quest Z speakers. The sound this poweramp produces is soooo beautiful, the midrange, dynamics and power is to die for.

      New to this forum. I have my Rotel Michi series stuff sitting under the bed and have only started thing about them again as I have a pair of Dynaudio Contour S5.4's on the way and I'm not sure how my Bel Canto eVo2i will cope with them.

      I have a Rotel RCD-1070 CD player that I like very much. I am the 2nd owner of this CD player, the first owner had done some little upgrades to it. Just diodes and new belt etc. And I also got a laser replacement with it too. I think I had a good deal at £200 buying this player.

      I'm after a Rotel Michi Passive preamp, as I want to try it with my nice Leak Stereo 20 Valve poweramp. The Leak 20 is known to go best with a passive pre, as it is a powerful poweramp. Plus my Leak has been modified for today's standards.

      Please let me know if someone has one for sale....
